It's a question that gets asked over and over again. It might be worded different, asked for individual or corporate reasons, but in the end the question goes something like, what is God's will for......? Joseph says to his brothers,
"so it was not you who sent me here, but God. He has made me a father to Pharoah, and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land." Genesis 45:8
Joseph is speaking this line to ease the pain, embarrassment, and fear his brothers felt in the midst of facing their own personal failure. Praise God that in the midst of some of our evil intent, God can use it to make his will come to life.
This thing of God's will can become something that seems to paralyze people sometimes. In an effort to find some perfect God ordained situation we wonder in regards to job's, schools, a spouse, a place to live whether or not that thing is God's will for us. Let me make it a little easier on you.
God will for my life, yours, and everyone around us is that we be Holy. In all of the God's will questions we ask, it seems to be the last one we seek. If God wants you or I in a certain place in a certain time he can provide a bunch of jealous brothers who will sell you to Egypt. In the mean time God's desire for my life today, regardless of any of the circumstances, is to be Holy. If we find ourselves seeking to honor our Lord regardless of circumstance, I have no doubt we will be called upon to be a blessing to many. 10 or Millions is not important, simply a blessing to many.
