Proverbs 10-12 Taking Good Instruction; A lifelong Endeavor

July 16th Proverbs 10-12

Yesterday we established that we need wisdom counsel and direction, in today's verses we get it.

If you walk in integrity you walk securely.
If you make your ways crooked, you will be found out.
Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life.
When words are many sin is not far behind.
The lips of the righteous feed many, fools die for lack of sense.
A false balance is horrible, but a just weight brings God delight.
With his mouth a godless man will destroy his neighbor.
When it goes well with the righteous the city rejoices.
Where there is no guidance a people falls. But with an abundance of counselors there is safety.
A gold ring in a pig's snout is like a woman without discretion.
One gives freely, yet grows richer; another keeps for themselves and always suffers want.
Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, whoever waters will be watered.
Whoever diligently seeks good seeks favor, but evil comes to him who searches for it.
Whoever troubles his own household will inherit the wind, and a fool will be a servant to the wise.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of like, whoever captures souls is wise.

It's easy to find yourself in these verses. Things you see in yourself, knowing you're on the right path. Things you see in yourself knowing you need to make a correction. The Bible is a mirror, let us gaze into it and see what we look like and know the strength of God who can, will, wants to propel us into the way of the wise, the way of God!!

Taking instruction, becoming wise!!!
