Proverbs 19-21 Good Advice

July 19th, Proverbs 19-21

I'm feeling a little like doing my own thing here this morning so here is my version of several bits of wisdom from the Lord found in the chapters above...

Better to be poor and honest than a crooked fool.
When someone does dumb things and ruins his own life, he likes to blame God.
Everyone  loves people who pass out money and gifts.
Whoever seeks out common sense loves their soul.
A foolish son breaks the heart of a father and a quarreling wife is like water torture.
Great inheritance comes from our family, but a good wife is a gift from God.(Thanks Leah)
When you give to the poor it is a loan to God. A loan that will be repaid with great interest!
Anyone can buy gold, lips of knowledge are priceless.
It's best to engage in strategy with wise people.
You might be able to excuse yourself, but God knows your heart.
If you ignore poor people, your call will not be answered either.
If pleasure is your goal you will be poor.
If you can watch your mouth, you'll stay out of trouble.
No wisdom, understanding or counsel will ever be better than the Lord's
Finally...
21:19 "The horse is made ready for battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord."

Tip of the iceberg here, read it for yourself and discover more!!
