Proverbs 22-23 Don't lock your keys in your car and other good advice!!

July 20th, Proverbs 22-23

These chapters continue on with so much random advice it's hard to hone in on a single devotional thought. Like yesterday I'm gonna hit my paraphrased highlights.

Your name and it's reputation means more than your riches.
Give leadership to your children and they will follow.
If you've borrowed money you are a slave.
Have the nerve to drive out a troubling person and abuse will cease.
A lazy person says there is a lion in the streets, I'll stay inside.(That one is pretty funny).
Children LOOOOOOOOOVE folly, discipline will drive it far from him!!
A skillful person works for kings, not obscure men.
Don't talk within earshot of a fool, he will despise your good sense.
Don't envy sinners.
Go to great lengths to buy truth, wisdom, instruction, and understanding.
Looking to be robbed and thrown into a well, consider a prostitute.

Finally the cycle many find themselves, expressed in Proverbs 23:29-35. I highly recommend you consider avoiding that one!

Last piece of advice; don't lock your keys in your car!!!
