2 Cor 5-9 Your Ambassadorship Awaits. Cool Job!

December 5th, 2 Corinthians 5-9

       Today has a power packed line-up of favorite verses for me as well. Today I'll narrow it down though.
2 Cor 5:17-21. It starts off with a great promise..."If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away, behold the new has come." We are in constant need of being reminded of things that are true about us, especially concerning new things. It takes awhile to firmly hold onto something new while letting go of something old.
       "All this is from God, who through Christ, reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation." We speak of salvation alot. To be honest with you, I have a growing interest in having people understand the real meaning of reconciliation. Broken relationships being made new, two that were far apart are now ONE. Reconciliation is God's great interest with us. Being saved, heaven are nice benefits, but the heart behind it is that relationship, intimacy and being one with God is what brings life.
       "Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us." Your ambassadorship awaits!!
       "For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God." One person becomes something they were not so that others can become something they are not. It's quite a trade. Your cordially invited!!
